The MDS-BG series multi-parameter water quality analyzer is a practical, highly modular sensor developed for the water supply and swimming pool industries. Utilizing the latest technology, the main module can simultaneously connect to four probes, allowing for the selection of nine monitoring factors (residual chlorine, carbon dioxide, total chlorine, turbidity, pH, temperature, conductivity, oxidation-reduction potential, and dissolved oxygen). External flow and pressure sensors are also available. Residual chlorine (carbon dioxide) is measured using a membrane-free three-electrode method, with electrodes including high-purity platinum (gold). Turbidity is measured using a 90 ° scattering light principle, with a long-life, stable LED light source. pH uses a glass electrode; conductivity uses a four-electrode graphite electrode; and dissolved oxygen uses a fluorescence method. The sensor features RS485 output, standard MODBUS RTU protocol, and supports networking with various terminals.
The entire instrument uses no chemical reagents, eliminating secondary pollution. Residual chlorine consumables only need replacement every 2-3 years. The instrument includes a mechanical rotor self-cleaning system, suitable for high-hardness, dechlorination, and water-shortage conditions, enabling long-term, low-maintenance operation.
