-Overview-
The MDS-C68 laser particle counter (hereinafter referred to as the instrument) is used to measure the particle size distribution and number of dust particles per unit volume in a clean environment. It can directly detect and determine the cleanliness level of a Class A or Class B clean environment.
The MDS-C68 instrument boasts first-class functions and features, providing six channels for specific particle sizes of 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0, and 10 μm, with a flow rate of 2.83 L/min (1 ft³/min). It offers a complete solution. The instrument uses a semiconductor laser light source, a large-size touchscreen LCD, and is small in size, lightweight, highly accurate, and easy to operate. Microcomputer control allows for direct printing of sampling and testing results, making it extremely convenient for testing clean environments.
-Working Principle-
This instrument employs the principle of light scattering. It senses light through a laser optical sensor, where the light scattering intensity is proportional to the particle size. When suspended particles in the air pass through the photosensitive area, the scattered light is received by the photosensitive element, generating a pulse signal. After photoelectric conversion, amplification, and processing, the equivalent diameter and number of the collected particles are obtained, thus detecting the size and quantity of dust particles.
-Scope of application-
This instrument is widely used in manufacturing enterprises and research departments in industries such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, optics, precision machining, food manufacturing, cosmetics manufacturing, medicine and health, biological products, hospitals, environmental protection, testing institutes, and aerospace, as well as authoritative institutions such as epidemic prevention stations, disease control centers, blood centers, and quality supervision institutes.
