    The MDS-SS90B Turbidity Sensor is a high-performance online turbidimeter designed for continuous monitoring of suspended solids in water. Compliant with ISO 7027 standards, it employs an 860 nm laser light source and measures turbidity by detecting scattered light intensity from particles in the sample. This compact, submersible sensor delivers accurate, real‑time data for a wide range of applications—from drinking water networks to industrial process control.


    With a rugged 316L stainless steel housing and IP68 protection, the MDS‑SS90B withstands harsh environments, high water pressure (up to 0.6 MPa / 60 m depth), and outdoor installation. Its innovative slanted optical window reduces air bubble adhesion, minimizing measurement interference and simplifying maintenance. The sensor supports both RS485 (Modbus‑RTU) and optional 4‑20 mA analog output, ensuring easy integration into existing SCADA or PLC systems.

    Signal Diagnostics & Traceability – Internal signal processing allows reading of device serial number and real‑time signal strength, facilitating troubleshooting and instrument traceability.

    Rugged & Submersible Design – 316L stainless steel housing with IP68 rating, capable of operating under pressure up to 0.6 MPa or water depth up to 60 m. Suitable for immersion, pipeline, or open‑channel installation.

    Anti‑Bubble Slanted Window – The angled light window design prevents air bubbles from adhering to the measuring surface, reducing maintenance needs and ensuring consistent measurements.
