    -Overview-

    The MDS-WG series vortex flow meter is a velocity-type flow instrument suitable for measuring and controlling the flow of liquids, steam, and most gases. The product features a non-clogging design; the sensor and wetted parts are made of stainless steel, with a simple structure and no moving parts. It undergoes mechanical vibration-damping treatment to filter out vibration interference effectively. The converter and sensor are highly interchangeable, making maintenance convenient and quick.

    The MDS-WG series can be installed horizontally, vertically, or at an angle, and provides clear installation guidelines for gases, liquids, and high and low temperature media, ensuring stable and reliable measurements. It is widely applicable to flow monitoring scenarios in industrial process control.

    This series of flow meters is equipped with a low-power full-dot-matrix LCD, which is clear, intuitive, and easy to operate. It supports RS485 or HART communication protocols to meet various data acquisition needs. It has built-in multi-segment linear correction and analog and digital signal processing, with a common range ratio of 8:1 and a maximum of 10:1. It is available in various specifications, including temperature and pressure-compensated types, and supports flange, clamp, thread, and clamp connection methods to adapt to different field piping conditions. The nominal diameter covers DN15~DN300, the medium temperature range is -20~350°C, the default pressure rating is 1.6MPa (higher pressure can be ordered by agreement), the accuracy class includes 1.0, 1.5, and 2.5, and the protection level can reach IP68.

    1. Clog-Free Design: 

    The sensor and wetted parts are made of stainless steel, featuring a simple structure with no moving parts, effectively preventing clogging and suitable for measuring dirty fluids.

    2. Vibration Resistance: 

    Mechanical vibration resistance optimization effectively filters out interference frequencies caused by pipeline mechanical vibration, ensuring signal stability.

    3. Simplified Maintenance: 

    The sensor is isolated from the process flow, maintaining a constant instrument coefficient. The converter and sensor are highly interchangeable, making installation simple and maintenance quick.

    4. Dual-Mode Signal Processing: 

    Simultaneously supports analog processing (manually set on-site) and adaptive digital processing, with a common range ratio of 8:1 and a maximum of 10:1.

    5. Multiple Communication and Display Options: 

    Supports RS485 or HART communication and features a low-power, full-dot-matrix LCD for clear, intuitive operation.

    6. Wide Media Compatibility: 

    Suitable for liquids, steam, and most gases. Multiple built-in compensation algorithms, including optional temperature and pressure compensation, meet complex operating conditions.
