    I. Equipment Appearance and Accessory Verification

After unpacking the equipment, a comprehensive verification process is conducted. Check the sensor body, mounting bracket, connecting cables, and sealing accessories against the accessory list to ensure they are complete. Carefully inspect the sensor probe, ensuring the optical window is free of scratches, stains, and damage. Also, check the cable sheath for integrity, checking for oxidation, cracks, or other issues at the interfaces. Furthermore, confirm that the equipment specifications meet the monitoring conditions and are suitable for the site's water quality, pressure, and other basic conditions.

    II. Installation Environment Survey

Appropriate selection of installation sites is crucial for accurate data acquisition. Site selection should avoid direct sunlight, strong electromagnetic fields, and vibration sources to minimize external signal interference. Prioritize monitoring areas with gentle water flow and low bubble content, avoiding areas with debris accumulation and water impact. Simultaneously, control the ambient temperature and humidity, maintaining a well-ventilated and dry work area to meet the environmental parameter standards for equipment operation.

III. Installation Tools and Consumables Preparation

Prepare the necessary tools according to the installation method. Standard tools include tightening wrenches, leveling instruments, and waterproof sealing consumables. Check the tools in advance to ensure they are in good working order. Prepare protective accessories according to the site environment to ensure waterproofing, dustproofing, and light protection for the equipment. Simultaneously, clear debris from the installation site and organize the installation workspace beforehand.

    IV. Electrical Wiring Preparation

Survey the site's power supply conditions in advance to confirm that the power supply voltage matches the equipment requirements. Plan the wiring route, avoiding interfering lines, and devise a simple and neat wiring scheme. Before wiring, keep the power off, check the cable insulation performance, and prepare waterproof wiring accessories to protect against leakage and short circuits during subsequent wiring work.

In summary, the preparatory work before installing a digital turbidity sensor covers several basic processes. Strictly implementing all preparatory requirements can reduce the probability of equipment failure, ensure stable and reliable monitoring data, extend the equipment's service life, and lay a solid hardware foundation for water quality monitoring.
